In Cambodia, you will not find industrialized crafts exported all around the world. With 15 million inhabitants, Cambodia remains rural with its population mainly engaged in agriculture. The production of crafts remains a side activity, when the crops are harvested. Small groups of artisans are producing work of love for daily use of the local population. Through our eyes, ordinary objects such as earthen ware, bamboo, rattan baskets, various forms of containers inherited from the betel chewing traditions find suddenly an appropriate place in our contemporary home. Every day's objects have been adapted, improved, recycled for other usage by our artisans for your pleasure.
